REFLECTION

Experience

My journey throughout the whole module was a challenging one. When I first started I had no idea on what Adobe Illustrator was or how to even use it. The software was really difficult to use to the point where I disliked using it at all. However, as I progressed further into it, I started to slowly understand how to navigate through Adobe Illustrator and was able to comprehend the basic knowledge I need as beginner. Despite countless of times my laptop started crashing and sounds like jet turbine every time I used it, I was able to learn and applied what I have learnt into the projects that were assigned to us

Observation

In my observation, it is important to get a lot of feedbacks from peers and lecturers whenever it is possible so that you can identify any errors in your design. I have also learned that the smallest detail could overwrite or become an important part of the artwork that might effect your design, so it's always important to pay attention to details.

Findings

Throughout the course of the module using Adobe Illustrator was not only challenging but also tiring from staring at the screen for hours and not touching grass, but I understood the important of learning this widely used professional software that can come in handy in the future. I was able to see improvement progress in using Adobe Illustrator from start to finish and I am grateful to the resources and tutorials that were given by the lecturers. Although I still dislike the software, I am willing to improve and learn more about it and maybe come to love it in future times.
