PROJECT 2A-PRODUCTION SHOOTING
For project 2A, we were required to have a production shoot with the team assigned to us. I was put into group S which follows or is based on the Japanese Drama-Silent, and the name itself speaks for the video. 

Requirement:
  • 2 x Shooting & Editing exercise (Shooting: Group; Editing:Individual).

1. SHOOTING PROCESS:

We had the shooting on week 5, we edited our storyboard to put in the information crucial for the shoot such as dialogue and estimated timeframe for every scene to make sure that we were on time.

2. EDITING PROCESS
To be honest, I can't remember how many times I had to restart my laptop just because it started hanging terribly because I was editing video and the sound of my cooling fan really made me wary whether it'll explode on my face or not.

I decided to change colour grading on scene 1 and scene 2 since colours doesn't match. I left out scene 3 as it is because it was dark and the lighting somehow suited how the storyboard look like.

Colour grading adjustment on Scene 2:
  • Temperature (-8.0)
  • Tint (15.0)
  • Saturation (90.3)
  • Contrast (38.1)
  • Highlight (9.7)
  • Shadows (-29.2)

PROJECT 2-SELF TITLED 
We were required to make a TikTok or Reels video that presented ourselves. Since I'm swarming with so much work I decided that I wanted to make a video of going through the projects that I get as a design student because to be exactly honest that's exactly how I spend most of my time at home. 

My idea: 
I wanted to create my everyday routine by going through my projects in my room in a cinematic setting.

I’ve always liked watching study with me or routine preparation videos during my free time since it gives me the motivation to try and be productive as well. Therefore, I decided to give the theme a try in my own setting.

EDITING PROCESS

For the settings, I set the lofi background music to -5
to -10 audio gain. Furthermore, the colour correction is
set to an Adobe preset filter Fuji Eterna 250 Kodak 2395
which I thought would fit the warm atmosphere of the
video.
